Common questions

We get all our bookings from Booking.com and Airbnb — why do we need our own site?
Keep them! A direct-booking site doesn't replace the platforms — it catches the guests they send you. Most guests Google your name before booking, and returning guests want to book you directly. Every one of those bookings on your own site is commission-free: at 15–18% per stay, even a handful of direct bookings a year pays for the site many times over. Ask me anything on WhatsApp.
Will it work with our booking system?
Yes. If you use NightsBridge or a similar booking engine, your "Book Direct" button plugs straight into it — availability and payments keep working exactly as they do now, so there's no double-booking risk. No booking system? Enquiries can come straight to your WhatsApp or email instead.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the site is yours. No lock-in contracts — the care plan is optional and you can cancel whenever you like.
How long does it take?
You'll see a free design concept first, at no cost. From go-ahead, most sites are live in about a week to ten days once I have your photos and details.
What does the R350/month care plan cover?
Hosting, domain management, and your updates — seasonal rates, new photos, specials, changed contact details. You WhatsApp me the change, I make it, usually same week. If you'd rather manage it yourself, that's fine too — the site is yours either way.
I'm not a guesthouse — can you still build my website?
Absolutely. Guesthouses and BnBs are my focus, but I've built 35+ sites for cafés, salons, florists, planners and more. Message me about your business.
